- Has your prayer life become stale?
- Do you sense there is more?
- Do you want to go deeper in prayer?
Many Christians feel their prayer life can be improved, but don't know how to go about it. They know they want to go deeper, but what does that even mean? Is it something mystical that only certain people can achieve? It isn't. Any Christian can go deeper in prayer. When we do, our spiritual life improves overall.
Prayer is the backbone of the Christian faith. It is how we come into God's presence. Many Christians don't pray because they feel inadequate. They think they have to sound a certain way or use certain words, and they are easily intimidated when they hear others pray.
We are all different, and the book addresses how because each of us is unique, so then are our prayers. That's because the Potter is the one who molded our clay, and we need to be consistent with his design when we pray. In other words, it's OK to sound like ourselves. Then there are the questions we ask, such as:
- How do we find the time?
- What do we pray about?
- How long do we pray?
- Are there some things we shouldn't pray for?
- And, perhaps most importantly, how do we pray for our loved ones?
This book addresses these questions and many more. It provides simple and direct instructions for Christians to deepen their prayer lives. The book encourages the reader and offers Biblical insight into prayer. It is a must-read for the new Christian. It should be on every Christian's bookshelf.
