Consider Him By Vance Havner Are you overwhelmed by the distractions of this world, or exhausted by the demands of religion? Turn your gaze upward and rediscover the ultimate cure for a weary heart.
In Consider Him, renowned evangelist and master communicator Vance Havner delivers a beautifully focused, deeply convicting meditation on the central figure of the Christian faith: Jesus Christ. Taking his cue from the timeless exhortation in Hebrews 12:3 to "consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls," Havner strips away the clutter of modern lifestyle philosophy to present a singular, revolutionary message: the answer to every spiritual ailment is simply to look at Jesus.
With his signature sharp wit, punchy prose, and uncompromising biblical fidelity, Havner examines Christ from every angle-His person, His work, His lifestyle, and His commands. He shows how a deliberate, daily habit of considering Christ is the only thing that can transform a dry, routine religious duty into a vibrant, overflowing life of faith.
Whether you are battling spiritual burnout, searching for clarity in a confusing culture, or simply desiring a deeper, more intimate adoration of your Savior, this book is a refreshing, necessary course correction for your soul.
