Whether new to Ryan Adams' music, or a long-time fan, this 2-disc set is the best over all example of his work. Ryan Adams and The Cardinals create great blues with Magnolia Mountain, get ironic with Beautiful Sorta, Rock the house on Let It Ride, and get introspective with perhaps the best track on the album, When Will You Come Home. No shortage of all the Ryan Adams staples, including great harmonica & piano work. Ryan Adams may be the best lyricist in the business today, and this album is a great introduction to or representation of his work.
