Chasing Mavericks (DVD)

The trailer looked good for this movie, and im a huge fan of Butler...but OMG..this movie will cause you to rise with the triumphs, fall with the difficult times...just as the ocean waves challege the surfers in this riveting story! A must see...AND buy!!

While this movie was great in the theatre, it is even better on DVD because of the features (including, at the end of "Live Like Jay" a short clip of Jay addressing his style and what made him a Soul Surfer). "Surfer Zen" also includes interviews with many of Jay's Friends, as well as his widow, and behind-the-scenes clips about the making of the movie - especially the wipe-out that almost cost Gerard Butler his life, and about his rescue. This is much more than a movie about surfing, and more a film about how to become a Soul Surfer (to a much greater extent than did the surfing movie "Soul Surfer" which was little more than just another surfing movie.
