Ozark Trail Military Style Green Compass with Durable Metal Body for Nighttime Use

This compass is much more durable and precisely made than I expected. I bought it as a backup for those times when my phone's GPS is unreliable during hikes, and the direction is spot on. It’s hard to find this kind of professional quality at such an affordable price. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys hiking or off-roading!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the many features and the ease of use of the Ozark Trail Military Style Compass! This compass has so many different functions, but it was really easy to understand using the instruction manual and the YouTube link listed on the manual. I have never had a compass that can be used to link your current position to a destination on a map and estimate distances so easily. This feels like a very high-quality and durable compass, especially for the price! It is compact enough to fit in the case provided and fits comfortably in my small hand, but still large enough print to read. If reading small print is an issue, you can unscrew the lens prism to use as a magnifying glass! The illumination for nighttime use is a very nice addition. It is pretty bright, especially if the sun can charge it up a bit during the day. Additionally, the YouTube video you are referred to in the instruction manual is very helpful in explaining how to calculate azimuth. It was a fun project learning how to use the different features on this Compass, but I absolutely love it! I feel like I would be much safer in situations when I'm outdoors and off trail. I highly suggest this very cost-effective, well-built, military style compass made by Ozark Trail!
