It is stabile holding a large strut spring off of a GM magnaride. Needs to be mounted to a wall,stand or bench. Its a large investment but much safer than then the portable units and the springs is contained. If your doing a lot of struts , this is a go to.

Love this tool -It will be in my shop for ever!

This tool is awesome! Quality built and performed perfectly! I purchased this because I was putting a lift on my 2019 Chevy Silverado. I had to change out the struts and it worked perfectly and safely! (Local dealer wanted to charge me almost $300 bucks to change out struts with me taking them out of the truck and bringing them in) now A couple more uses it will pay for itself!
