They keep one, named Elsa, until she is fully grown, and rather than turn her over to a zoo, they decide to train her to live like a wild animal so that they can release her into her natural habitat. Geoffrey Keen is a sympathetic government official who convinces the Adamsons that they should set Elsa free to avoid being ordered to place her in captivity. Great movie

I remember watching this movie as a child, and seeing it again brought back such great memories. This is a very heartwarming movie, and I'm thrilled to have added it to my collection.

A wonderful true story of wild lion cubs raised and tamed (to a degree) in Africa. One cub in particular becomes so tame she has to be trained how to return to the wild and how to protect herself. Very well done on location. I heartily recommend it to all animal lovers and lovers of nature.

One Of The Greatest Wildlife Films Ever Produced.

The DVD was in good condition but, it was packaged without the bubble wrap protection. Walmart has very good prices on DVD's when ordering from Walmart.com but, the delivery time to store is much slower than any place else. Would like to see the dilivery time to store improved if that's possible.
