These are sturdy and versatile. Love them!

We have bought five different sized units and they range from the eight cube to the 12 cube. We have two of those 2/8 and 116 cube. We're planning on moving at the end of December and we were trying to get started organizing some things first because I'll have a craft room at the next place and these units will go in there. I have a feeling I'll be buying more for our bedroom because I can't imagine them not being here. I love them. I do a lot of different kinds of crafts so I needed to divide it up and I like things organized so it's taken us a little while, but I'm almost done. Because we got rid of a desk and a printer stand. There is going to be some visible paper in this in that that I didn't want to see and I have a lot of paint and I didn't want to see that or my molds for resin. So I bought drawers for the resin molds and boxes for the paints and a stand to sort my paper all sorts of things, but we didn't want to look at them every day so I bought Walmart curtains. I bought them longer than the units so I can use excess material on the back if I want to because these cubes are open to the wall behind. In one of my pictures, you should be able to see a 12 inch canvas in one of the cubes which is another way you can cover up what's in there if you don't want people seeing it. The eight cube on the left has a curtain over the front of it. I took a yardstick and measured the width of the cabinet and cut the yardstick and put it inside the broad pocket at the top. Then I cut some holes in the back and put some hot glue in there to do the gathering and to make it fit, so it would stay on the yardstick. Then I took Velcro that was sticky on both sides and put it across the top of the cabinet and then pressed the hemmed curtain on the yardstick to the top of it and it stage is fine. I need to do another one for the other side and I bought curtains. They came two panels to a set so I think it was $18 or so minor blackout curtains that weren't shiny. They're just black blackout curtains. The cubes that I put in these I got off of Amazon and I couldn't figure out how I was going to label them. The only labels I could find slid over the top rim of the basket and you wrote on it with chalk and that wasn't going to work. So what you see a picture of is a metal nameplate device that I got off Amazon and I think you normally see them screwed into filing cabinet cabinets wooden cabinet cabinets so instead of screwing them in anything I took the screws and put them in my toolbox for some other project and I used heavy waxed cord that's for bookbinding and I use that and I made it a jig on a piece of cardboard that mimicked the size of these the 13 in.² where the handle was and then where I wanted the name plate on one of them said that they're the same across you know they wouldn't. I'll be in a different location and look messy and that worked really well. I really love these cubes and after we move I think I'm gonna have to get some for our bedroom because I cannot imagine not having these or at least one

Ok

I ordered this one due to it looked just like a previous one I ordered from another company and it was about $30 cheaper. When putting it to the insert pieces to hold it together are plastic unlike the previous ones that were wood so they don't hold as well.

My problems putting together this bookcase.

The inside inside panels kept coming out everytime I moved the outer walls. At the end when I was tightening the %238 - 3" screws down, I had a 1/2" excess of overhang. I had my son man-handel the 2 pieces together, while I screwed down the last 2 bolts. That seamed to work. I was also short 3 plastic doll-rods, so I zigzaged the the last row. Also for stability I would have liked 2 strapes to hold it to the wall, as I live in California, near a fault-line. I knoiced there are divits in my carpet, which could make the bookcase lean forward. I bought 2 types of drawers for this bookcase, so I can have storage as well as a bookbase.
