Awesome game. more fun than scrabble due to the speed of trying to finish before the other players. what fun. great for kids to improve both spelling and speed and to increase vocabulary. just as kool for adults. Ruth

Instructions: Please retain this tag for future reference. General Rules (detailed instructions inside banana): All tiles (the bunch) are placed face down on the table. Everyone takes 11-21 tiles, depending on the number of players. Someone calls out split. Players turn over their tiles and proceed, simultaneously, to create their own individual crossword, which they may constantly rearrange. When a player has no tiles left, that player calls out peel and takes one tile from the bunch. All other players must take a tile at this time. At any time, and as often as desired, a player with a letter that is difficult to use may say dump and return it, face down, to the bunch, but must take three tiles in exchange. Once all the tiles in the bunch are gone, the first player with no tiles left calls out bananas! and is the winner of that hand.

We played this game all the time with our grandkids, and finally got it for ourselves. It's good for all ages. Everyone can easily learn the rules, and it's like an easy scrabble but more interactive. From ages 8 to 80 it's just a great and the time frame is also however long you want to play. My husband doesn't play scrabble, but he likes this game.
