Bought this as a pet cam while we would be away for short trips, the pan up/down and left/right functions worked perfectly..While most animals wouldn't be interested in the screen function on the camera, it gave my wife peace of mind that our pet "wouldn't miss us as much" as he could hear our voices and had an image he could see..
