BARBIE IN ROCK 'N ROYALS

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter for Christmas and she already had the Barbie doll that goes with it (had bought it on Boxing Day the previous year) so it was super cool to finally see the movie. Great music and a great movie about friendship and about trying something new - the princesses learn to get along with the posters, and they all work together in the end of the movie to wow the crowd with a big performance. This movie felt a little bit like a Pitch Perfect for kids, without the complicated romance. The main characters are girls who become good friends. There is a bit of a happy romantic ending in it but not pertaining to the main character. It's with the adults who are the directors of the camp. Easy movie for young girls to watch without being all about "Prince Charming" so that rates high in my books. The moral of the movie is that you can be yourself and don't worry about what others think about you :) :) and always be ready to make new friends! :) :)
