Calling to transfer is necessary and Tmobile did restrict the time in which I could transfer my number. This is probably a security measure, so no big deal. I just didn't know of the time restraint. Otherwise, I'm very happy to be back with ATT and have reliable service!!!

Setting up pre-paid SIM was cumbersome

I had to go into the store and the rep still had to call the call center to take the account off of “reserve” to unlock it. Plus, when I bought the prepaid card, I did not have an option to buy the eSIM . I was forced to buy a regular Sim. I realized the eSIM was an option when I received the card. I would've preferred to have used an eSim as the first choice.
