we currently have an older krupps 12 cup savoy which is no longer available and ones used on ebay aren't worth buying. we just got this one today and made a test pot of coffee after first running plain water thru first. the taste is exactly like our older one!!!! also...we use paper cone filters which we find always taste better than the mesh one.....SO THIS GETS A TWO THUMBS UP FROM US. 👍👍
