PESTICIDES MAKE ANTS SPREAD. This kills them all.

Carpenter ants beware! It'll kill ‘em dead! MOST PESTICIDES CAUSE ANTS TO SPREAD BECAUSE QUEENS RELOCATE TO NEW, SEPARATE PLACES. Save yourself the hassle we went through. This stuff is great for when you're moving in and see a ton of ants. Works on ghost ants, fire ants, carpenter ants. Every rainy season in the fall, ants come out. This stuff is perfect for eliminating ants. An absolute must. If I could only have a few household products, this would be one of them to maintain sanity. I put it on the wall and a TON of them came out and ate it. Then they disappeared, a few left dead, and we haven't seen A SINGLE ANT since then! That stuff is gnarly. Warning: it is clear gunky stuff that is sticky. It might stain your ceiling or if you have matte or unpainted walls. I put it along baseboards to avoid seeing it. You can also empty a whole thing on some folded up paper towels with sugar and that works well too. Borax has never had great success with ants for me, and pyrethrin makes them spread, like most pesticides. I'm not sure how to remove it, but probably with oil or Goo Gone. Highly recommend this stuff! It's the best product for it that I've found, especially for the price!

These things work so gooooddd!! The stuff the bug people give me never works. But this stuff right it's like overnight boom ants disappear or are dead within the container. Can't recommend enough if you have pesky ants.

this stuff works!

These things are so gross, but they work fabulously! I had ants in my kitchen and I got rid of them with some Ortho bug spray. 6 weeks later all of the ants were back and they brought their friends. this time I used these liquid ant baits. I did some research online and they told me to put a little dab of the solution on a piece of card board just outside the opening of the trap to entice the ants. At first a few ants were just milling around, but apparently those were just the scouts. the key to know here is that you have to let the ants live, so in my case I had to live with him crawling all over my counters for a day, hence the gross part. once the scouts come back they bring a whole bunch of friends with them and they start forming a trail and then they start swarming all over the trap, and they go inside it and drink the liquid and then they leave, although a lot of them never made it out of the trap - they just died inside. anyway once they leave, they go back to their nest, and the poison they ingested kills the ants there too. after about a day, the answer totally gone (except for the ones that were dead inside the trap). the thing that's pretty great about this is that it kills the answer they don't come back, and active ingredient is just borax, which I commonly use as a cleaning product in my house. obviously keep it away from places where kids or pets will be but I didn't even have to spray any poison on my counters or anything and it worked. so if you can get past the ant crawling around on your counter for a day you'll be happy you did.!
