Yummy vegetable fried rice!

I made vegetable fried rice using these and it turned out perfect! I cooked the rice the night before and let it sit in the refrigerator before turning the heat up in the kitchen the next day! I added scrambled eggs, soy sauce and rice vinegar. A little salt and pepper and garlic seasoning- voila!

I been a fan of peas and carrots since i was a kid. Love that I can just throw this in the Microwave for 3-4 minutes to add to any of my meals from soup (Rama noodles) to fresh salads to my fav. Amish macaroni salad for color and health. lets not forget Rice w parmesan cheese added. YUM.

These are great simply as a side dish with a pat of butter. However, I use them most of the time in casseroles and pot pies. They are the perfect size--peas can often be too small or too large. The color they add to foods is great. I alway keep a bag in my freezer.
