We bought these for little kids soccer practice. They have been great for that, and we've also used them at home to mark the end of our driveway when kids play in the front yard (alerting people to slow down). We store them in the back of our vehicle, and they haven't been outside for extended periods of time so I can't say if they will fade. So far we've been very pleased, and would recommend.
