The man at Gosund was very helpful. It works now

The only problem I had with this product was the 2.4G wifi service. This was complicated by an error in specifying the network password. I found out that you have to leave the 2.4G service activated even after the initial setup. My router was an ATT 5G router. By default the 2.4G service is not active So I had to use the ATT Home Manager to turn it on.
