Be prepared to put it together!

The quality of this trike %26 thickness of the seat is better than expected. However, I did not expect that I would have to put the whole thing together. There are so many parts, it's still sitting on my porch, waiting for me to put together. I got it for my 89 year old dad, but I'm disabled and can't sit long enough to assemble it. It's sad really, because it is too complicated to put together. I do recommend this trike, the color, quality, just make sure you have someone that understands how the chain, breaks, and other parts go together %26 work. It's beyond me. I guess I thought it would already be assembled.

Do your homework.

This bike is perfect for what I bought it for which is riding half a mile to the grocery store and back on level ground. Make no mistake though. This is still a department store bike. The frame comes in two pieces which are connected by four nuts and bolts. If you're looking to ride more aggressively or on hilly terrain you should seek out a trike with a higher price point.
