DIY'ers,first get yourself the "Hanson Stud Finder" tool . Once you've located a spot to hang your wall mount. Break out the Hanson Stud Finder,a pencil,and a tape measure and a level.(There is a built-in level in the walmount) Locate screws with the Hanson Stud Finder, %26 mark all drywall screws,in area you want your wall mount to hang. Pre-drill holes where you marked for lag screw mounts. And walaa! You did it,you hang the wallmount one lag screw at a time. You just saved $$,getting the walmount at Walmart. You just saved $$ doing it yourself. The Hanson Stud Finder is $10, @ HD,Amazon.... P.S. Make sure each pre drill locates wood!1 "Remember,measure twice,drill once!" This is a very good quality mount. We purchased this same one for every room in our home. It holds all our different size tvs from 45” to 65” with no issues. It's easy to install. Hubby installed all four of them himself. Instructions are easy to follow or you can find a video. Once you put up one, no instructions needed. It swivels easily as well as adjusts upwards and downwards. Comes with the bolts so all u need is your stud finder and power tool. Great value for the money! Recommended

This was so much easier to install than I expected. I love that it came with a level, a paper template for marking screw locations, all different size hardware for different tvs. While this would be hard to install with just one person, for two people it was a breeze. You will need a stud finder and a drill with the appropriate size drill bit. The drill bit it wanted was a size I didn't have, but I made it work using one just slightly smaller. This mount fit my 55" tv just fine, and it seems very stable. I love that you can adjust the tilt in several directions. For the price, this is fantastic--well made, sturdy, and provides flexibility.
