great product on carpeting or upholstery. Tip: Use slightly less on upholstery and more on carpeting as the carpeting usually needs a deeper clean. And if you're using a cleaner that has a hester function, try also starting with hotter (not boiling) water. Made a noticeable difference.

I use this a bit differently. I add approximately 1/2 cup to a spray bottle, filling the rest of bottle with water. I spray the carpets before/after vacuuming. On curtains, furniture (material items) as a fresher. I have several pets and it keeps my home smelling fresh... I let my neighbor borrow my vacuum and she said, wow your vacuum smells so good 👍
