I originally bought traction boards from xbull as a budget option. However after using them many times and realizing they were not just budget but quality product, I decided to buy the winch. I just got done with a 14 day 1,470 mile overland trip and I used the winch twice. It worked without any problems at all. I highly recommend both the traction boards and the winch.

This winch is awesome. It got full use first day out when my friend dropped a bead on a tire in a banked turn...pulled him all the way up the berm and out of the pit. Bonus is the wireless remote which I didn't even know it came with...so cool and such a great price!! Very easy install, no fuss, everything fits and works out of the box. Good instructions with tips for winch scenarios and recovery situations. All around very impressed with XBull products, they have gotten me out of multiple sketchy incidents that would have otherwise resulted in hefty tow fees if not more!!
