I absolutely LOVE this phone case/wallet combo. The leather is soft, yet sturdy. I actually have a better grip while handling the phone than I had without the case. I was concerned it would be too bulky and awkward, but it actually is form fitting, allowing my hand and fingers to hold it securely and comfortably. The strap is an added bonus, allowing me to carry my phone like a purse, both over the shoulder or in my hands. I no longer have concerns about my phone being lifted from my cart while shopping. The buttons and charging port are easily accessible. The card holder is not so tight that I can't get my card out, yet tight enough that I am not concerned about it falling out. I've been using the card holder for several weeks, and don't feel as though that will change. I have dropped my phone twice onto concrete, and the phone was protected perfectly. I also don't see any damage to the case itself. The phone can be installed in the case with ease. No instructions were necessary, and it was installed in less than a minute. This definitely will make a nice Christmas or birthday gift for anyone who needs a phone case.
