Easy and a god sent!

Finally, I can get my son to hang up his kayak that he got for last Christmas and didn't use. It lays in the middle of my shed for me to fall over it! Lol there is no assembly required you just screw it into wall , post, 2x4. They are not heavy and you can mount them alone with no help . I do like how they have the foam protectant on them so they are gentle on your kayak without scratching them up . Shows that the company cares about their customers.

Recommend!

I did not expect this to work as well as it did - - I did not attach it to a wall, instead to the side of my dock to keep my kayak and paddle accessible throughout the summer months. I also did not use the brackets, instead boring holes through a panel in the wooden dock using the natural leverage of the shape to balance out the kayak weight. I also ordered a kayak cover to keep the sun off my seat cushion, etc. Works great!
