Pretty solid boots at a very respectable price

I picked up the Ozark Trail Men’s Troy Boots on a whim—honestly expecting little more than “Walmart brand Timberlands”—but I’ve been pleasantly surprised so far. I’ve only worn them twice, but both times they held up way better than I expected. They’re fully waterproof, which I learned after unintentionally stepping straight into a puddle, and the slip-resistant soles actually do their job. What impressed me most was the comfort. Usually boots need a break-in period where you question all your life choices, but these felt great right out of the box. No rubbing, no stiffness—just comfortable, sturdy boots that actually look good too. Overall, for the price, these are kind of shockingly solid. Walmart really said, “Here, have some discount Timberlands,” and somehow… they delivered. If they keep performing like this as I wear them more, they’re going to be my go-to pair for a long time.

No regrets

I usually wear steel toe boots for work inside a warehouse. My feet were starting to hurt so I wanted to try something with a soft toe. I decided to give these a try and I’m glad I did. My feet aren’t killing me after eight hours. Definitely worth the price.

I have a shoe problem. I like them all...expensive or inexpensive. I have a range of boots. I just wanted new every day boots that are fairly warm. These are made very differently than the original Troy. They cost more but I think they are a bit better quality. You cannot expect a 25 dollar boot to last like a 200 dollar boot. If you want a new fresh pair of boots....this is a good way to go. These are good for trail walking....yard work....moving around in general. They look nice and hold up as well or better than Lugz that cost twice as much and looking similar. Both are made from "faux" leather. These are listed on the tag as lifestyle boots. That's what companies do now....it means they are pretty much meant for leisure wear. People say they fit true to size. I'm not so sure. There are no half sizes ...so...I wear an 8 in some brands....7.5 in others. Example.... I wear 7.5 in Justins. I got these in 7 and they fit perfectly good like my Justins fit. So it's my opinion these run large. I'm no shoe snob. These would be nice for anyone....man woman or kid who wants a good looking leisure boot for a good price. (The old suede Brahmas that were only 15 bucks.....those things held up forever. I wish I had stocked up on those. I also wore a 7 in those) I assume these will last ME quite awhile. These would NOT last long on a job site and are not made for that. If you're just walking and general yard work....these would last awhile. I'm satisfied. I'm old enough to remember when 8 inch Timberlands were 70 bucks. I see no need to pay over 200 ....those weren't so great 35 years ago. It's all about the looks or status and they are not worth that kind of money when they are high maintenance boots.
