I like wearing bike-type shorts under my summer dresses, no thigh chafing, smooths out lumps and just feels better than a pair of underwear especially when you're a bit older and/or a bit chubbier. I originally just bought one pair to try out and I had to come back and buy 3 more. Amazingly the waist is better than any other type garment I've ever bought, it doesn't roll down (I'm 5'6” 220 lbs and most is at my waist and it's almost impossible to find a garment that doesn't roll down after sitting.
