Yes and yes - so easy to do and such a satisfying result! I received two boxes of these today - all in perfect condition and two days early! I had the patio cleared off and swept and both boxes out and put together over cracked concrete in about 45 minutes. Done. The crack in the concrete goes all the way through and all the way across, and this product is handling it! It snapped together and if I step on the crack one side of the wood wants to pop out, but it's holding. Real wood, so the fact every piece isn't exactly the same is beautiful. It's a little "bright" in color, but I can easily put a darker sealant or stain on it and it will be perfect - or I can just leave it alone and let it weather - it's real wood! I can take the little screws out and configure the pieces around the step and up the sides of the concrete step with glue - I can paint some of them to have pops of color or a design - so many ideas - but probably I'll just leave them alone and let them be beautiful as they are.

I really like these floor tiles. I installed them on my balcony and they were super easy to install and look great. My space is not exactly square, so I needed to cut some pieces to finishing putting them down. I have a handsaw and even though it took a while to saw through the tiles, the wood was easy enough to cut and I used tin snips to cut the plastic pieces underneath. My only complaint would be that all the tiles are identical, so if you want to alternate the orientation of the middle pieces to look like a woven design, when you get to the edges you have to use pliers or tin snips to break off the plastic hooks or pins. My 11ft by 6.5 ft space took about 2 hours to install the majority of the floor (while moving furniture) and about another 2 hours to finish the edges that needed cutting with the handsaw. If I had a circular saw or power tools I think that would have only taken an extra 30 minutes tbh.
