I had medium expectations but am very surprised by how cute it is. It smells ok but that's not why I got it. I want it for decor and storage. I originally bought these for the price, at $2.37 each you couldn't beat them, and we were due to have bad weather so I thought they would go cute with the my retro decor. However, when I got them I was very pleasantly surprised to see how huge they were. In the pics they looked like something that could hold maybe paper clips, but in reality they are rather large. I think when I al done with them as candles I am going to put some fairy lights in and use them that way. As for the smell, it's pleasant, but I am not sure exactly what it is as that's not labeled, but it's not a deal breaker. I would recommend them for their cute design and reusable containment style!
