These are spoons. They do what spoons do and they do it well. These are inexpensive so they're not something I would use for a fancy dinner to impress a date I'm cooking for. I would break out the good silver for an occasion like that especially if she was wedding material. But, these spoons do the trick for everyday use. Nice little spoon! However, was expecting a bit larger for a dessert or cereal. The edges are not too smooth. The handle is shorter than preferred. Technically, this spoon seems more of a half teaspoon. Since the handle is short, it would be an ill fit for a big hand. Will keep and use them for serving dainty desserts, coffee, or tea.
