I have it sitting on my indoor porch and I love the fact that it's battery operated and you can plug it in and recharge the battery anytime you need to. It is made very well and it's just the right size that I needed for the area because I like it so much. I just purchased another one for my bedroom. I love that you can make it as bright as you want or as dim as you want. It is definitely a good goodbye for the money.

As cute as it could be - better shade maybe?

This little lamp is as cute as it could be. The tiny 12" size is absolutely perfect for my use in frequent rural power outages. I want one in every room now! That way I can keep the honkin' big lanterns and honkin' big chargers for actual housework or repair tasks. This is more like a little reading lamp. It arrived partially charged; I'm topping it off now and can't wait to put it on my side table! Love the one touch on/off. I will be buying more. I adore this little thing. Only criticism is that the shade is a little flimsy and I don't see it lasting long. May be wrong, hope so. As an FYI, the instructions say not to use it outdoors, and this is one occasion where I believe it. You maybe could in dry locations but in the damp deep South, I think not.
