Perfect Beginner Bicycle

I'm an avid mountain biker. I know bicycles, how to tear them down, build them back up, what parts go where and the quality of the parts. I own from well know bike manufacturers. I purchased this for my adult daughter, 5'2", who hadn't been on a bicycle since her high school days and wants to get back into it. I know I wanted disc brakes, check. Multiple shifting gears. check. Front suspension, check. After receiving the bike in perfect condition, I swapped out the tires to kevlar flats for the road, tuned the shifting, adjusted the seat and off she went. The first time she didn't realized you don't push pack on the pedals to stop and stopping is through the handbrakes, which she eventually learned. It's obvious this is a bicycle she will grow into, and when she's ready to grow out of it I'll be so happy with my $200 purchase after it's been used and abused. It seems it'll hold up for some time as long as I keep an eye on it. There is no point in upgrading anything on this bicycle as it's not worth making any investments. Save until you know you'll be riding and get a better bike. This is perfect for beginners and it is a disposable bicycle once done, or donated for charity.

Package came without any damage. Assembly took around an hour. Instructions book has video links for troubleshooting but videos could have been better. For me front disks brake alignment took some patience and time. Overall it's a good deal and i got it around 170 usd. Everything works fine.
