Excellent beginner guitar. No issues at all (Almost unheard of even for premium brand). Intonation and action was quite acceptable and even the strings were okay. No sharp fret ends on the neck which are found on many buget guitars. Hardware seems fine but can be upgraded. The saddle, however may not be easily upgraded due to it being a fixed intonation saddle. I have being playing for over 40 years and have had many guitars. My only advise to those starting out is to always remember, "it's never the guitar that makes the guitarist" Having said this, it doesn't hurt to start with a decent one. The Jasmine S34C is more than just a "decent" guitar. It is marketed as a beginners guitar but I don't really agree since there about a million other off brands that fills that bill. The Jasmine brand is owned by Tekamine, a well established brand from Japan and isn't considered an off brand. Jasmine has been around for a long time now and as established itself in the market. The hardcase seemed like a bonus. it's study and worth half the cost of the guitar.
