Key item features

  • Moroccan Design: This SAFAVIEH Casablanca Otis rug features an abstract Moroccan design, offering a contemporary yet timeless aesthetic with deeply textured shag and Flokati styles.
  • Premium Material: Hand-tufted in India from 100% New Zealand wool, this rug boasts a plush 1-inch pile height and a cotton backing.
  • Color & Size: Presented in an Ivory/Silver color scheme, the rug measures 4' x 6', with other colors and sizes available.
  • Maintenance Guidelines: Regular vacuuming without beater bars is recommended, along with spot cleaning and professional rug cleaning for tough stains; rotate every 3-6 months to ensure even wear.
  • Shedding & Creases: New wool rugs naturally shed initially; vacuum 1-2 times weekly for the first few weeks. Temporary creases from packing will gradually recede, aided by back-rolling.
  • Placement Advice: A rug pad (sold separately) is recommended to prevent shifting, and rug protectors should be used under heavy furniture to avoid pile flattening.
  • Sunlight Caution: Avoid direct sunlight exposure to prevent color fading over time, ensuring the rug's longevity and vibrant appearance.

Has tassels?! Not as pictured.

The rug is nice but the picture shows no tassels and there are very large fat braided tassels on each end- which I specifically don't want. I would have never ordered this rug if it had tassels. If I cut them out there would be huge holes due to the size of them. I'd like to return at no cost to me since this was an error on the sellers side.
