WHAT'S DIFFERENT ? The type of plastic used isn't stiff, rough on the ends, hard, or non-flexible. It's smooth pleasant to touch and comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The tiny teeth do not scrape the scalp or get tangled in even fine, thin, soft hair types. Reducing possible hair breakage. The headbands can be twisted and they don't lose their original shape. They easily open to smoothly fit majority of head sizes for girls, women and even elderly females. Sleeping in these 6mm flexible headbands is easy. Since I started wearing these I don't get a tightness headache. I can lay my head on the arm of my couch without outer ear pain. Pictures in the ad and ones on the headbands product detail page DOES NOT DO JUSTICE TO THE COLORS. The 12 colors are not to dark or to overly bright. My daughter likes to combine different colors. She ties her long hair back and uses 2 colors of these 6mm headbands to accent her work or casual outfits. She loves how she can make combinations that even accent her tie dye shirts or jacket. The only complaint I have is everyone wants more colors. We'd love to buy them. Highly recommend these headbands to others.
