First, the instructions on how to use the holder are shown as an image on the inner packaging (and you'll probably want to check them out so you can open and close the holder). The holder comes as two plastic pieces of the circular holder, slightly detached, and the strap. Once you place your Apple AirTag in one of the sides of the circular holder, the other half attaches in and screws onto the other with about a quarter turn. Now the Apple AirTag is securely inside the holder, and the edges of the holder stick out just enough to prevent your AirTag from getting scratched. Loop the strap through the hole and attach to your keyring, your bag, your backpack, your dog....
