Strongly recommend it. Picture and recording is very clear. The spotlight feature is a huge plus for outdoor, in a dark area the spotlight feature will light up super bright so you're able to see clearly 👀! It offers you a 30 day free trial for subscription for to play back your recordings, then it's $2.99 a month which isn't bad, but by reading the manual you can actually place a micro usb how ever many GB you want and will record your activity. But you're able to watch your camera live 24/7 plus the sensor motion notification is awesome it get some getting use too but overall I love this door camera I installed it outside my apartment door and it literally captures a large perimeter, up to the street where cars pass where my car is parked. Very simple to install, I bought this one that you have to plug 🔌 in, because I did not want to struggle having to recharge batteries I did that before and it was tedious.. I separately bought a micro USB cord 25ft for $10 for this door camera, on Walmart.com. The micro usb cord that comes with it is only 12ft not nearly enough for outside but will work perfectly if you're using it inside. I Love this camera and the price was unbelievable for all it can do. Strongly Recommend!!!!

EXCELLENT, LOW COST CAM

Have 4 of these cams to supplement my Blink cams that do not record to an on board sd card or the cloud 24/7. Needed full coverage because Blink doesn't always record when it detects or should detect movement. Realized this when neighbor asked if my cam recorded someone breaking into his car. I did not have the Blink on because it triggered on cars passing by. Not so with the Wyse. Everything is now recorded, took the Blink out of that location.

I enjoy the higher resolution, and I have the capability to do both local and cloud storage of video recording. It definitely creates the flexibility to have or not have the subscription. The subscription for just the doorbell camera is worth it due to added features you get to help with more refine identifying people vs animals, vs objects.
