Had my last Kenmore for almost 30 years

Well - the old direct-drive Kenmore finally broke - a plastic piece on the outside that I couldn't get epoxied together...but it was after THIRTY years - so I really can't complain. Just bought the current generation of the same vacuum - hoping it will likewise last 30 years. So far, the off / on switch with smoother design, otherwise, seems very similar. Hoping that Kenmore hasn't gotten caught up in planned obsolescence...and this lasts just like its predecessor!

Great if you have shedding rabbits.

My previous vacuum was a Kenmore Elite, so this selection was an easy one. One of the best things with this model are the lights. I have two free roaming rabbits in my home. This vacuum illuminates all of the loose hairs I might otherwise miss. Great suction. The one downside is the weight but you adapt to that easily.

Heavy Duty Clean Up!

The suction on this upright vacuum is the best I have ever had! The extension attachment is genius, I just wish it was longer. You do need muscles to move this vacuum around, it is heavy to maneuver but so excellent at cleaning everything up!
