Stylish and Practical

I work on my feet usually on potentially slippery floors. For years I wore chucks with orthotics and they were ok. My niece turned me on to Vans. The soles are the right amount of grippy, and the footbeds are flat- a perfect platform for a removable orthotic. The inner footbed has better shock absorption with a slightly wider toebox. At the end of the day I have less discomfort.

Timeless style

Just like I remember but due to age and osteoarthritis in both ankles and feet, I added some nice insoles. These are about 8 hour shoes at best so I plan ahead. The only down side is the color options are limited with a size 16. Lucky black and white goes with just about everything.

A great “just hanging around” shoe

Love this shoe. Been wearing since the 80s. It's the thin “no padding” version. My only complaint is it wears out by my pinky toe on every pair. It's a great “hanging around” shoe.
