The motherboard installed fine had no problems I like the way it looks solid. I mounted a Ryzen 5 5600x to it and had no problems accept in the bias I had to enable raid to get it to boot right. The price was not bad for this type of board. I would recommend to buy this board

Great experience for a first time builder

I chose the TUF B550 Plus to build my first PC and had a great experience. The motherboard manual was very detailed and told me pretty much everything I needed to know along with a little youtube to make sure I was doing everything right. The BIOS UI is easy to understand which is something I was very worried about, hovering over various options tells you exactly what the option does. My only gripe as I learned more about building a PC is the location of the Chassis Fan Header 1 being right in the middle of the board, the other two are in the perfect spot along the bottom edge so wasn't too much of a big deal but if you absolutely need to use it then you'll have a cable just floating around which is a little unsightly. No stars deducted for that though as it's a minor inconvenience. As I started setting everything up I was happy to find out it has 1 ARGB header and 2 4 pin RGB headers, my case came with RGB fans but I bought an ARGB CPU cooler and was able to use both. It has a lot of functionality for the price and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Well designed and great board

This is my 2nd TUF Gaming motherboard. I upgraded from a B450 to get the PCI 4x needed for a nVidia 3080. Now if I can just get my hands on a 3080. The board is well laid out and the BIOS settings are easy to use. ASUS has become my motherboard and video card manufacturer of choice.
