good sturdy but run tight

This is a great all around set of socks. They tend to run tight so keep in mind when buying. If I get the crew, I put slits in the rim giving them ease. They really last well through the season and sometimes longer depending on abuse...which by the way they seem to take well. I hand wash all my clothes so they tend to last longer. I can't really speak to how long these would last in the washer with everything else and then in the heat of the dryer.
