I really love the farmhouse style décor and this rustic looking chalkboard goes perfectly with my home décor. This chalkboard is a great piece for the kitchen counter or to hang on the wall and write the menu or schedule for the week. The chalkboard is just the right size to prop up against my counter and wall without hitting the bottom of my upper kitchen cabinets. It has little triangular hooks on the back so you can hang it vertical or horizontal. I like to switch up my wall décor so this is perfect for me to move from one room to another. The hooks on the back make it easy to put on and take of the wall. I have had a few chalkboards and this one seems sturdy, thick and good quality. I also like the rustic, natural looking wood frame. It goes with just about any style of home. My kids have also enjoyed writing on it and practicing their letters and words. It's so versatile and since my son is learning virtually, this chalkboard is also a good learning tool to have for sentence and writing practice. We have used regular and sidewalk chalk on the board and it seems to work just fine!
