My puppers is in love with this super soft blanket! The days are becoming colder for my pom-chi mix, and he loves wrapping himself up in his blanket during the night to snuggle in or when taking a nap on the couch beside me while I watch tv. He's a small dog, but actually on the short side of medium, and the blanket is large enough to wrap him up. The blanket seems thin at first glance, but once you feel the cozy texture, you'll see that it's a good material that keeps warmth. When it comes time to wash the blanket, I used a gentle fabric softener on the blanket and washed it on cold wash. Instructions read that we can put the blanket on a low tumble dry, but I prefer hanging it outside to best keep the snuggly soft texture of the fabric. I've washed it a few times this way, and it kept the same softness and vibrant plaid print from when I first took it out from the package. Another thing I noted right away is that my pom-chi mix didn't have an allergic reaction to the cozy blanket as he's had with other blankets made of coarse materials. He has very sensitive skin. Anything too coarse and it will send him into a scratching fit that I have to soothe with medicated lotion. He's taken to this blanket like a dream and has had no irritations to the blanket at all. Very soft stuff! If you take a ton of pictures of your puppers for social media like I do, then the flannel plaid print is trendy and looks charming for any occasion. A second blanket for my pom-chi mix, because he deserves it and can't seem to part with it when the blanket is being washed. And a third for my ball of fluff kitten who likes to claim the cozy blanket for herself!
