There's something about it that doesn't seem right because I'm so used to the traditional design but I like it. It's easy to use and clean. I only used it once so far but didn't have any problems with it. It's not heavy, and there are no crevices where dirt can get trapped. All in all it is a a functional rolling pin that is easy to clean and maintain.
