Great little loom

First off, this is a toy and meant for kids and for beginners. That said, I wanted to try weaving without having to spend a couple of hundred dollars for a hobby I might not like. This has been great for that. It mimics a rigid heddle loom with how it is setup. There were no instructions for use, just for assembly. It was pretty simple to use. It will give me a nice starting point.

Good beginner loom

It's a good place to start for people just starting to work with a loom. I bought this for my teenaged daughter because she had an interest in trying it out and she loves it. I do wish there was color coordinated thread and better instructions, as the white thread that's pre-installed had no instructions on how to replace them. Overall, it's a great deal.

Obviously meant for a child, given the small size and lightweight wood, but constructed shockingly well. It is also able to be used after the included warp is finished, as it has proper warp and cloth beams. Ours came warped poorly, with wildly uneven tension, but fortunately I knew how to fix it and had extra paper bags on hand to cut warp separators from. My 6 year old has been happily weaving with a bit of help all evening, and I'm considering buying one for myself to avoid warping my own larger loom just to make tiny projects. Would definitely recommend this for a beginner, or someone who just wants a tiny loom to play around with.
