About this item

Product details

Discover the Cosmic Crisp Apple, a standout variety known for its deep red skin, exceptionally crisp texture, and perfectly balanced sweet-tart flavor. With a firm bite and juicy, pearl-colored flesh, Cosmic Crisp apples are ideal for both fresh snacking and a wide range of culinary uses.

Developed through more than 20 years of research by Washington State University’s renowned tree fruit breeding program, the Cosmic Crisp is a cross between the Enterprise and Honeycrisp varieties. The result is a large, flavorful apple that holds its texture well, making it excellent for baking pies, crisps, and tarts, as well as for cooking, entertaining, and everyday snacking.

Cosmic Crisp apples also shine when served fresh. Their vibrant color and uniform shape make them a beautiful addition to fruit platters, centerpieces, and seasonal displays. Whether enjoyed straight from the bag or used in your favorite recipes, Cosmic Crisp apples deliver exceptional flavor, crunch, and versatility.

The best apples you have!!! Cosmic are always wonderful and I usually not only get the bag of apples, but I get 3 or 4 of the big ones sold separately for when I want to feel special!!

Smaller than “normal” and just as sweet

These cosmic crisp apples are very small, though they do come from the Pacific Northwest, the origin of the “crisp” family of apples (starting with honeycrisp.) They are less expensive than honeycrisp, but just as delicious. The only downside, and it is not a terribly strong downside, is their size. If you are expecting apples the “normal” size as honeycrisp, you will be disappointed. However, for me, the size is just right; not too much, not too little.
