Legendary Indeed

Writing my first review to advocate for this truly amazing set. I can't believe there isn't more chatter about the Monkie Kid product line, but there surely will be. I'm not even invested in the storyline of MK, have yet to see the show, and I typically prefer a more modular building experience to mechs or graphic builds. I was actually drawn into the series by City of Lanterns and totally overlooked this set at first. And yet, there is no reason this wouldn't be among my favorite builds ever… a value by piece count, build experience, playability, and massively beautiful to display! Buy this one.

Visually beautiful and so much fun to build

This is one of the best builds I've done so far. As a display it has a "wow" factor that's hard to describe. The water fall, the mountain, the forestation and the minifigs go together so well. Very unique build and as I was putting in the individual sections of the mountain, I thought of all the pieces I could add to make it look even more interesting and playable. So glad I bought this set.

SUPER AWESOME…

This was my first “big” lego purchase and I don't regret it at all. It's a very good display piece and has a ton of cute little play features. I grew up with Journey to the West so it's super cool to own this set, it's like owning a piece of my childhood.
