Real furniture.
Nice piece. Took about 60 minutes to put together, by someone who reads instructions and goes step by step. (Not me) The color isn't a true grey. It's a grey/subtle greenish color, which is very nice. Don't be put off by this. It works for me. If you are looking for a solid grey, this piece may not be what you are looking for.

Nice Console Table for Entryway
I needed a smaller scale console table for my entry way and this fit the bill nicely. It is very easy to put together (this senior lady did by herself). It also came with a bag of extra hardware in case you are missing something to put it together. Very nice to have and even better that I did not need any extras. The wood is very nice. In fact I liked the sides that were not given the distressed look just as much (a nice golden brown with dispersed small wood knots). I probably would have bought it without the distressing as well. Only the lower backing and drawer bottoms are very thin wood boards. But that's not a detraction for me as I don't plan to put heavy items in the drawers. My only comment for improving would be to increase the height by 2 inches.
