Good

Boots are great for me. They give me good support and have always been all day comfort. A little spendy, but when you find a shoe that works it is worth it.

Very comfortable, not very durable

I bought a pair of these, one of the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. As far as durability, one of the worst boots I have ever owned. The soles started coming loose around the toes within the first six months. These were not "daily" wears, but were casually worn averaging well less than two partial days a week (part of my 3-boot rotation of casual/work/leisure). I typically condition the leather on all my boots, currently own at least 6 pair varying styles. Soles are very thin, not impressed overall. Not sure how long the soles would last if these "Eagle Trail Alloy Toe Waterproof Hiker" boots were actually used for any significant hiking. I took the boots back to my local place of purchase for repair. After getting them back, it was about five months later that the same problem occurred. Loose soles were becoming a trip hazard so they got tossed into the closet. Since then they have been sitting in the closet, out of sight/out of mind. Decided to get them out and write this review. Definitely not impressed with my first pair of Georgia Boots. I have worn boots since I was a kid (I'm an active 71-year-old now), very rarely wear any type of "tennis shoe" and primarily wore military style dress shoes when on duty at my career job as a Fire Fighter (retired now).
