Minn Kota Talon Shallow Water Anchor, 12' White w/Black Motor - 1810455

I live in coastal South Carolina, we have a 7 to 9 foot tidal change; I've procrastinated for years to get a shallow water anchor. I recently put a new motor on my boat and it seemed like the perfect time to add the sandwich bracket to the transom. (just in case I opted for the anchor) I went with the Talon because the others work on hydraulics and require a pump to be installed. The Talon is all electric and just seemed to make more sense. I added a cut-off switch for when the unit is not in use because if its powered on in still draws a minimum amount of power. We took it out last weekend and it performed flawlessly. You can pair it to your smart phone and use it to work the anchor or use the provided remote. I would recommend this product.
