Just tender and delicious

Most delicious tender beefy chuck roast I've had in years. Used it for. Beef Genovese with the onion gravy and white wine. Seared quickly then out in 300 oven for three hours. Recipe says to shred it but I don't like my food shredded I prefer to cut it up. This was outstanding as all Walmart black angus beef has been for about two years.

Really good

I'm cheap and can't afford the prices of steak, the coppa pork steaks are good and inexpensive, but I wanted some more beef flavor. So this being more than a couple inches thick I sliced it into two thick "steaks" and prepared them Like steaks which for me is beating them with mallet, liberally sprinkled with salt, pepper and garlic, then using two forks stabbing the seasoning deep and put in fridge for a day. Good sear on both sides then in pan on low heat for a butter basting. These came out awesome, tender, it's steak for 7.97 a pound.
