The maker puts a pocket inside the open end of the pillow cases, if you make sure to tuck the pillow into the pocket, it won't come out during use. For the low price these sheets had rich color, deep corners and were plenty big and fit well. I had both sets of our sheets have wear tears the same week, I bought one expensive sheet set and then this cheap set. Both were perfect for our use.
